I was attending a committee meeting when I recognized one of the members walk in. I recognized her but didn’t know her very well. As we were both walking out, we started chatting and hit it off immediately. We talked business and we set up a time for me to start helping her on a project she had been wanting to complete. As I was working with her, I realized I was in need of her services, something I had been agonizing over, and soon, I got started on a project I had been needing to get done. Was she put in my path to learn something, and mine in hers?
Whether you call it fate or coincidence, I feel people are put into our lives to teach us lessons. Some may be big, like learning how to handle yourself in a business meeting, or very small, like holding the door open for someone and seeing how much a selfless act can brighten someone’s day. Learning from others, whether they show us how to or not to act, can be beneficial as we move about our day.
These teachers are all around us and we need to recognize them and learn from them. Have you learned from anyone today? Leave it to Laynie
